| Description |
| - Working on multiple projects for the company concurrently.
- minimum of five years experience in C sharp (C#), the .NET Framework SDK, ASP.NET, grasp of Strong Object-Oriented Programming techniques, Java, J2ME, ASP.
- Strong Database development and Database administration skills and experience.
- The ability to develop and deploy Windows, Web and distributed applications through the application of the required technologies enumerated above.
- Knowledge of SMPP and WAP protocols and their application in SMS Gateway and WAP Gateway development. This requirement is an added advantage and not mandatory.
- Experience using Kannel, Cygwin, OpenCDS and either of BEA Weblogic Server or Sun Java System Application Server will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a Wireless Application Service Provider Company will be an added advantage.
- Consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and existing skills and knowledge
- Writing detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operators
- Conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately
Candidate/Person Specification
- Experienced Software/Applications Developer who pays attention to industry best practices models.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Windows XP SP 2, Windows Server 2000, Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005.
- Programmatic use of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Knowledge of any flavour of the Linux operating system will be an added advantage.
- Leader, trained and supervised a team of developers, for a particular project, to write a specific section of the programme
Qualifications
BSC in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics and Statistics
A Masters certificate in I.T Project Management will be an added advantage

24-35 years
Salary range
N150, 000 and above depending on qualification
